Our story
We’re a California family who started homeschooling when our daughter was just in pre-school. We knew from the start we didn’t want to enroll her in a traditional school because of our own personal experiences with the educational system. BUT we didn’t know how or where to start.
Our family and friends thought we were crazy because homeschooling was “not normal.” But we knew in our gut we were making the right decision.
Fast-forward 7 years later, here we are still homeschooling our daughter and loving it.
We figured things out like what worked and what didn’t work for our family and our daughter’s style of learning.
Now friends are asking us how they can get started homeschooling their kids. That’s why we created a guide to capture everything we wished we had in the beginning of our homeschooling journey.
We are currently traveling SE Asia while homeschooling. We hope to encourage families to follow their gut and take that step to start homeschooling and live a life they have always dreamed of.
